The digital summit is the leading annual digital event of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and a forum for economic and technological future-oriented topics concerning the digitization of the economy. It is supposed to increase the visibility of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in the field of digitization of the economy – beyond the region itself – and inform and inspire enterprises about digitization. In this setting, newcomers are brought together with pioneers and experts in digitization across all industries in order to bring the audience up to date on digital issues, future technology trends as well as their effective implementation in their own businesses.
Digitization plays an increasingly important role in small and big enterprises as well as politics and research – after all, it drives competition and innovation. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in ensuring the leading position of a region as a business location.
