Mrs. Formica-Schiller brings 15+ years as an experienced Attorney-at-law specialized in AI, Blockchain, Big Data and Bioethics in healthcare innovation and drug development,, External and Governmental Affairs, EU and International decision-making, Policies, Reforms and Regulation as well as high-level Stakeholder Relations Management at national and international levels across multiple industries including Life Sciences. She is an accomplished expert with multinational company Board experience, managing and understanding the complexity, opportunities and risks associated with major international projects as well as developing and executing results-oriented advocacy strategies.
In 2019 she was invited by the Data Ethics Commission of the German Government to share her views at the roundtable-discussion “For an ethical creation of our digital future”.
She was also selected by Forbes in 2019 amongst other leaders with the best/most exciting/innovative ideas, to attend “Writing Future Codes” Summit in Zurich sharing her approach on the implications of AI in Life Sciences and Biopharmaceuticals.
Mrs. Formica-Schiller is the initiator of project study “Blockchain and AI: A new paradigm shift in biopharmaceutical financing and R&D” at the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies (Prof. Ann-Kristin Achleitner etc.) of the Technical University Munich (TUM).
Mrs. Formica-Schiller held various global roles of increasing responsibility working across Europe, Asia, Russia and Switzerland. Before founding Pamanicor Health AG she played an integral role in managing one of Europe’s largest public consultation and stakeholder management process with involvement of multiple European member states and governments as well as international private stakeholders. In addition, Mrs. Formica-Schiller has been for several years a Task Force member for one of Europe´s most significant infrastructure projects, chaired by Germany’s ex-chancellor G. Schröder, helping to advocate and pave the way for European governmental approvals across different jurisdictions. In her role as Liaison Officer for the Office of the Managing Director she has been responsible for official Board mandates as well as engaging with industry leaders from numerous cross-industry multi-national companies.
Prior to that Mrs. Formica-Schiller worked at the Allianz Group Life Insurance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on the implementation of one of the company’s major global projects primarily on country-specific market developments and Malaysia’s Vision 2020. Before that Mrs. Formica-Schiller has been at one of London’s Magic Circle law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London, United Kingdom where she focused on EU policies, procedures and regulatory in the area of IT/IP. In addition, Mrs. Formica-Schiller held roles at the Executive Offices, Legal Affairs at Munich Reinsurance Company in Munich, Germany and was the Roundtable representative of a leading international law firm in Germany where she successfully managed to bring different stakeholders together.
Mrs. Formica-Schiller was awarded with the international “KIT” program by the Allianz Group as well as a scholarship by the European Union.
She serves as Vice-President and Board Member of Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Zurich chapter, the world biggest nonprofit association for gender diversity in the healthcare industry with more than 10.000 members.
Mrs. Formica-Schiller is a German qualified Attorney-at-law with a legal degree from the prestigious Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, Faculty of Law, Germany. In addition, she holds an advanced university degree in Economics and Business Administration with focus on Finance and Marketing.
