A successful professional services company with broad offerings in value and access strategy and generation, wanted a strategic refresh to drive double-digit CAGR in revenue and profit over the next five years.

We initially approached the problem by looking at the current and future external landscape, by assessing the key trends driving customer segments and determining which segments best align with the client’s current capabilities.  We also determined how the biopharma industry was responding to these trends and which specific capabilities they were strengthening or creating to address evolving payer needs.  An internal assessment evaluated how aligned the client’s services/offerings were with customer needs and how effectively internal business practice areas collaborated to improve customer experience.  Finally, we determined strategic gaps in the client portfolio and geographic expansion opportunities.

Our strategic roadmap outlined the transformation, ambition and key building blocks for transitioning into a leading biopharmaceutical services provider.  We specifically outlined how unique integrated evidence solutions coupled with new capability development and expanding geographic footprint will lead to sustainable competitive advantages.
